1.Single disc length & specifications
LWC copper tube: The entire disc length is relatively long. The standard single disc is several hundred meters long, with a disc weight of approximately 120kg. It is equipped with an outer liner and a wooden tray, suitable for large-scale continuous construction. The length can be cut arbitrarily as needed.
Pancake coil: The fixed length is relatively short. Commonly seen are 15m and 30m small rolls. Each single roll is lightweight. It is packed in a plastic box with heat shrink film. Once a roll is used up, it stops. It cannot be continuously connected.
2.Loss and Cost
LWC copper tube: For large-scale projects, the loss is low. You cut as much as needed and there is almost no leftover waste pipes; but for orders of the entire tray, small projects may have leftover copper pipes, resulting in inventory accumulation.
Pancake coil: Purchased in fixed rolls, it is very convenient for small projects and scattered repairs; if the actual length of the pipeline is not an integer multiple of 15/30 meters, there will be more leftover materials and waste.
3.Transportation and Storage
LWC copper tube: Large in size and heavy, they need to be placed on pallets for transportation, resulting in higher logistics costs and occupying more space in the warehouse; the wooden trays provide good protection, and the copper tubes are less likely to be crushed during transportation.
Pancake coil: Small in size, stacked in cardboard boxes, easy for logistics, warehousing and handling, suitable for store inventory and retail shipments.
The continuous length of the single pipe body is large. When the equipment factory and the project department are cutting the pipes, there are fewer joints, effectively reducing the leakage risks brought by welding joints. At the same time, it reduces the frequency of pipe replacement and improves the processing efficiency.
TP2 phosphorus-depleted copper, fully annealed in a soft state, with uniform wall thickness and good elongation; the coil arrangement is regular, and when placed on the unwinding frame, it is not easy to twist or wind the pipe, making it suitable for secondary processing such as bending, flaring, and welding.
